Elena Martelli is an Italian mathematics teacher with a background in mathematics education. She was invited to share her teaching experience as part of an international, teacher-focused initiative during Global Goals Week in New York. She founded Mathematics for Change to integrate sustainability and global challenges into mathematics education, supporting teachers with ready-to-use, SDG-aligned lessons connected to real-world contexts.
